Important Memo About Storing Otter Eggs

We recently received following question:
Question by Duane: "If I put completed eggs in a plastic container, will it effect the eggs or have an effect on the plastic. Long time ago when I was into bass fishing and using plastic worms, if they were stored in plastic containers they would melt into the container."

Otter's Answer: Yes, they may react with some plastics. Test the plastic container by placing some loose eggs in them. Let sit for several hours. Then check and see if any "dimples" occur in the plastic container where the eggs were sitting on that surface.

This subject is covered on our "Notes" page, (see item #4).
